BEHIND THE STARE
Recently, I have been creating a body of work that introduces colour to my practice. A series of drawings titled 'Behind the Stare', which originated as studies for a larger painting, and some oil portraits experimenting the effects that being coloured blind has on my use of colour.
The drawings mark a connection between the safety I have felt when working with charcoal against the steps i've taken out my comfort zone and reveal an insight into my working process.
